The death toll on Highway 67 continues to rise with 3 more deaths reported in a collision Thursday morning. The wreck happened out in the area of Benoit, about 10 miles east of Ballinger around 10 a.m. The scene was described as “very bad.” In all, 5 people have been killed in traffic accidents on U.S. 67 in the last two weeks, alone. file
