Congressman August Pfluger Sworn Into the 117th Congress

Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) was sworn in to represent the 11th District of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2020. 

“It is an incredible, humbling honor to swear an oath before God to defend the Constitution and serve the wonderful people of the 11th District of Texas in Congress,” said Pfluger said in a statement released Sunday evening. “The 29 counties of this remarkable district are home to the most decent, honest, hard-working men and women who feed, clothe, and power this nation. I could not be more appreciative of the trust they have placed in me, and I am determined to work hard every day to be their voice and advocate in Washington.”

The 11th District covers 29 counties in West and Central Texas. District offices for the 11th Congressional District are located in Midland, San Angelo, Brownwood, Llano, and Granbury.

Pfluger is from San Angelo and resides here with his wife Camille and their three young daughters, Vivian, Caroline and Juliana.
