Virus diagnosis

My stuff this week will be brief. I want to say thank you to everyone offering words of comfort to me and my family. Saturday I relented to the aches and pains and went to the ‘doc in the box’ for some help. They sent me to the COVID drive thru for official diagnosis. The nurse put the swab just inside my right cranium cavity. Three hours later they called and said yes you have the Virus. Glad to know my imagination wasn’t working overtime and it was the real deal. I have stayed inside in bed or in my recliner, although Red has told me I am about to start short walks around the yard on Monday for my lungs!

This is not anything to be taken lightly. Do wear your masks and wash your hands often. It is like an industrial case of the flu. The aches are real and relentless. The lack of energy is frustrating. Thank you to my wife and son for pampering me. The medical folks offered a shotgun approach with their meds and I am going to follow up with some meds offered by survivors of this illness. Thank you to everyone for the calls and words of encouragement. Please keep praying for rain. Be Well, Gary K.
