Elyssa Korn-Flores was chosen as the Ballinger Noon Lions Club Sweetheart. Korn-Flores was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Lions Club with club president, Mike White, presenting her the check.

Special to the Register from the Ballinger Noon Lions Club.

As the 2019-2020 school year came to a close, two Ballinger High School seniors were honored by the Ballinger Noon Lions Club. Chosen as sweetheart and beau were Elyssa Korn-Flores and Cameron Poteet.

Mike White, club president, is shown presenting the $1000 checks to Elyssa as she goes to Angelo State, and Cameron, as he heads to Tarleton State.

The Ballinger Noon Lions’ on-going project of recycling aluminum cans and various other fund-raising projects enable the club to award these scholarships.

Congratulations and the best of luck to these two deserving young people.

Cameron Poteet was selected as the Ballinger Noon Lions Club Beau. Club president Mike White presented Poteet with a $1000 scholarship check.
