Douglas Morgan retires from Ballinger post office.

Douglas Morgan began his postal career at the Ballinger Post Office on April 1, 1995. He will retire on June 26th. There will be a farewell  greeting event at the Post Office located at 116 S. 8th St. from 3:00pm - 5:00pm on Friday, June 26th.

Douglas Morgan began his career at the Ballinger Post Office on April 1, 1995 (25years). Mr. Morgan started as a PTF Clerk/Carrier for 8 years. He later became the Regular City carrier for City Route 2 in Ballinger.

Mr. Morgan served as one of the area’s OJT City Carrier trainers for numerous years. He has always demonstrated a high level of efficiency and professionalism throughout his career. Mr. Morgan’s commitment to put customers and the mission of the Postal Service first shows not only in his performance but in frequent complements about him given by his customers. He has earned the respect of his coworkers and management.

We want to thank Mr. Morgan for his continued support throughout the years. We wish him the best of luck in his retirement . We will certainly miss him!

Doug’s last day will be on 26 June 2020. There will be a farewell greeting event at the Post Office located at 116 S. 8th St. from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on Friday, 26 June 2020. All are welcomed to come bid farewell to a great employee, co-worker, carrier, and wonderful person.
