WINTERS - The Winters Country Club will host the annual Industrial Tournament on Saturday, June 3.

This will be the 51st Annual Industrial Tournament held at the Winters Country Club which was established in 1926.

The tournament is a three person scramble format and teams can tee off at either 8 a.m. or 2 p.m.  Saturday.

Team Fee is $175 which includes the practice round, hamburgers on Friday and golf carts for both days. Anyone who would like to have their business sponsor a hole can do so for a $75 sponsorship.

"This a great opportunity for any business to promote itself to the area and to help us maintain a viable golf course in Winters," said Gary Kemp of the club.

The Winters Country Club is a semi-private nine hole course that offers a challenge to golfers of all ability. The course holds a private liquor license therefore all purchases must be at the club. Included in the team fee are three temporary memberships to the bar area.

On Friday all players are invited to a practice round and then follow up with hamburgers served at the club. There will be a drawing on Saturday following the tournament for door prizes.

Those who wish to sponsor a team or a hole and/or donate door prizes, please call Jerry Sims at 325-518-0718.  Players are available to fill a team for any sponsors that need players.

More than one team can be sponsored and members can play both the morning and afternoon rounds or play multiple teams in the same round. Flights will be determined by the number of teams for the day.
