The Bearcats took an early lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Hagey drove in one run when he singled.

Keynan Gonzales earned the win for Ballinger. He tossed two innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, striking out two, and walking one. Galvan took the loss for Sonora. He pitched six innings, surrendering four runs, seven hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Cody Harral started the game for Ballinger. He pitched five innings, giving up one run, eight hits, and striking out four.

The Bearcats had seven hits in the game. Hagey and Damian Michalewicz each collected multiple hits for Ballinger. Tyler Matschek and Hagey each drove in two runs to lead Ballinger.

Sonora collected eight hits. Sanmiguel and Mungia each collected multiple hits for Sonora.
