An early lead helped propel Ballinger to victory. Ballinger scored on an error, a double by Tyler Matschek, a single by Hagen Garvin, a single by Christian Martinez, a double by Keynan Gonzales, and a single by Reid Matschek in the first inning.

A single by Mirike in the first inning was a positive for Grape Creek.

Gonzales earned the win for Ballinger. He pitched three innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, striking out seven, and walking one. Dylen Crabb threw one and two-thirds innings, as two relievers helped Ballinger finish off the victory. Crabb recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Ballinger.

Mirike took the loss for Grape Creek. He tossed one and one-third innings, giving up 12 runs, ten hits, and striking out one.

Ballinger collected 16 hits. Gonzales, Donovan Luna, Matschek, Garvin, and Martinez each collected multiple hits for Ballinger. Ballinger didn't commit a single error in the field. Garvin had the most chances in the field with nine.
