Sonora took an early lead in the second inning. Gonzales drove in one when he singled in the second inning.

Sonora took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. Ballinger scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Reid Matschek and a double by Clayton Hagey.

Lopez earned the win for Sonora. He pitched one inning, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Kenyan Gonzales took the loss for Ballinger. He went five innings, surrendering four runs, eight hits, striking out eight, and walking one.

Lira started the game for Sonora. He tossed six innings, giving up three runs, seven hits, striking out seven, and walking one.

Clayton Hagey led Ballinger with two hits in three at bats.

Gonzales led Sonora with two runs batted in. He went 1-for-2 on the day. Sonora was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. San Miguel had the most chances in the field with nine.
