The Winters Lady Blizzards varsity defeated Stamford 10-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

An early lead helped propel the Lady Blizzards to victory. The team scored on a single by Shelby Gray, a stolen base by Brooklyn Gallaway, a triple by Skylar Lee, and a stolen base in the first inning.

The Lady Blizzards captured the lead in the first inning with an error that scored two runs for the Lady Blizzards.

A stolen base by K Kovar in the first inning was a positive for Stamford.

The Lady Blizzards collected 11 hits. K'Lee Lindley, Tia Campos, and Gray each collected multiple hits. Gray went 2-for-4 at the plate as she led the team with two runs batted in.
