Ranger JC took an early lead in the first inning and scored on a stolen base during Coronado's at bat. Then Coronado doubled, driving in one. Ballinger took the lead for good with six runs in the third inning.

In the third Clayton Hagey singled, driving in zero, Donovan Luna singled off of Cavawess, driving in one run, and Jace King singled, driving in one. Damian Michalewicz earned the win for Ballinger. He threw five innings, surrendering four runs, 11 hits, and striking out four. Diego Alvarado recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Ballinger. Cavawess took the loss for Ranger JC. He went two and a third innings, surrendering four runs, six hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Coronado started the game for Ranger JC. He threw two innings, giving up six runs, seven hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Ballinger had 15 hits in the game. Hagey, Reid Matschek, Luna, King, and Michalewicz each collected multiple hits for Ballinger. Hagen Garvin, Hagey, and Luna each drove in two runs to lead Ballinger. Ballinger was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Garvin had the most chances in the field with seven. Ranger JC collected 13 hits. Armer, Coronado, and Holland each collected multiple hits for Ranger JC.

Ballinger would also defeat Abilene JV 8-4 and Early 3-2 while falling to Lake View 11-6 and Millsap 8-3 last week.
