Tracy Manon Simpson Schreiber passed peacefully from this life on October 24, 2020. Tracy was born at Barksdale AFB Bossier City, Louisiana on November 24, 1970.
She often referred to herself as a “Military Brat” having lived all over the world throughout her young life. Tracy graduated from Abilene Cooper High School in 1988, and attended Texas Tech University where she received a Major of Arts in Political Science (1992) and a Masters of Arts in International Communications (1995). Tracy held many positions in life and her last as a Special Needs Teacher with Carrolton Creek Side High School was her dream.
Tracy loved traveling, meeting people from all works of life. She had a knack of connecting and accepting people and they loved her for her compassion.
Tracy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Billie and Chester Simpson of Ballinger, Texas and Jane and Tommy Newsom of Texarkana.
Tracy is survived by her husband, Tim Schreiber of Lewisville, her loving parents, Kay and Charles Simpson of Texarkana and her big sis, Mignon Hervey. Other family members include nieces Kenzie Bullock and husband, John Michael, Katelyn Peek and husband Paden, with great nephews Merek, Axe and Shae. Tracy also has a special aunt Tammy and Ricky Sims and cousins Katie, husband Justin Scribner and Joshua Sims of Texarkana.
Tracy leaves behind many loving friends and her students. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Chapelwood Funeral Home, Texarkana, Texas. Tracy’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, Texarkana, Texas. A special thanks to the beautiful people of Hospice of Texarkana for their assistance in Tracy’s transition to her next life.
