Donna Wallis Berryhill age 83 of Dardanelle passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.

Donna was born June 30, 1936 at Russellville, Arkansas to the late Jimmie Wallis and Eulene Jones Wallis. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle, she was a intercollegiate Barrel Racer where she made the National Finals and was runner up to the National Intercollegiate Barrel Racing Champion. She was a member of the Sul Ross State College Rodeo Team and champion of the Southwestern Region of the National Inter-collegiate Rodeo Association and she placed in the Barrel Race in Cheyenne when she was 17 years old. She was a stock holder in the Bank of Dardanelle for many years and was a Co-owner of the Thos. V. Jones Lumber Company. She was a member of the Arkansas/Oklahoma Horse Quadrille.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Buster Berryhill of Dardanelle; four children, Patti Berryhill of California, Dee Abrams (Dave) of Oklahoma, Betsy Vaughn (Joel) of Conway, Tom Berryhill (Jenny) of Dardanelle and seven grandchildren, Kristopher Anderson, Emily Anderson, both of California, Will Longenbaugh of Oklahoma, Hayden Vaughn (Brittany), Piper Thornel (Liam), Bailey Hambuchen (Josh) and Isabelle Berryhill.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Claudie Norris, Ellen Moles, Barney Hensley, Haskel Hicks, The Spares and Pairs Sunday School Class.
