Ballinger - Jimmie Ella (Baker) Jones age 102 of Ballinger, Texas passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, in Coleman, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Ballinger, Texas.

Jimmie was born May 8, 1919, in Milano, Texas to the late James Edward Baker and Ella Sledge Halpain.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband; Wesley Coleman Jones, her parents, two brothers, and five sisters.

Jimmie is survived by her son; Bill Jones (wife Vondane) of Coleman, Texas. Grandchildren; Shamone Minzenmayer (Brian) of San Angelo, Texas, and Shannon Parrish (Howard) of Kennedale, Texas, Great Grandchildren; Kevin and Kelsey Minzenmayer, Brittany and Bethany Parrish. Her best friend, her little dog "Rusty", who will truly miss her. She loved all her fur babies. Jimmie was a member of the Ninth Street Church of Christ. Jimmie worked for the Ballinger Memorial Hospital from 1964 to1984 as an LVN, then a Lab and X-Ray Technician. She retired in 1984 and opened an antique business on Broadway St. named the "Attic". She had a passion for gardening, crocheting, arrowhead hunting, and fishing. She enjoyed making beautiful framed art with her arrowheads.
