Austin - 3/12/85 – 9/16/21

Michael Truehardt, 36, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 16, 2021 at his residence in Austin, Texas. He was born on March 12, 1985 in Austin, Texas to Jeanette Findlay (Chrisco) and John Truehardt.

He graduated from United Christian High School in Houston, Texas. In 2021 he graduated with honors from the Texas State University with a Business degree. Michael excelled in the service industry due to his strong work ethic and genuine personality. He was a friend to all who crossed his path and natural conversationalist. His passion for the outdoors led him to many adventures where he became one of the best fisherman any of us knew.

Michael was full of life, an avid outdoorsman, and a diehard for football. Especially the Saints and the Longhorns. He was the best camping buddy as he was always the one who was most prepared and the one with the most impressive chef skills. He lit up a room at social gatherings and always walked with a smile.

Survivors include his sister, Christina Peters (David), brothers Chris Findlay (Jillian) and John Truehardt (Brittis). As well as Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Jeanette Findlay and John Truehardt.

A memorial service will be held Saturday October 9 , 11:00 am at First Christian Church (410 N Broadway St, Ballinger Tx 76821).

A Celebration of Life will follow on Sunday October 10 at 4:00 pm at The Cedar Bend (138 Hunters Chase, Cedar Creek, TX 78612)
