Ballinger - Patsy Rodriguez, 95, of Ballinger, Texas peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

She was born on Wednesday, April 29, 1925, to Julian and Rita (Molina) Segura in Karnes City, Texas. She was a familiar face at a lot of local restaurants in Ballinger, and was well known especially at the 66 café and Beefmasters. Patsy loved to sew, and she sewed many blankets for her loved ones and family. In fact, she outlived all of her dear friends that she sewed with. Another great love of Patsy's was "Honky Tonk" dancing, but above all she loved most her family and all of her grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren. She was also a member of the New Life Refuge Church.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents Julian and Rita, and her son Pat Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children, daughter, MaryAnn Padron and husband Manuel of Ballinger, and her son Johnny Rodriguez and wife MaryAnn of Slaton, Texas. Patsy is also survived by her brother Simon Segura and his wife Gloria of El Paso, and her sister Romanita Rodriguez of Winters. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Alice Grajeda and husband Ramon of Ballinger, Jesse Rodriguez of Tulsa, OK, LornaAnn Handley and husband Kirt of Athens, Tx , Abraham Rodriguez of Midland, Johnny Rodriguez Jr. of Lubbock, Abel Vasquez also of Lubbock, Martha Ann Lopez of Dallas, and Fransis Lopez of Ballinger, Texas. Patsy is also honored with 30 great-grandchildren and a large number of great-great grandchildren as well.

A visitation will be held for Patsy on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5-7 pm, with a rosary in between at 6:00 pm at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home. Her graveside service will follow the next afternoon at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, January 23 2021 at the Latin American Cemetery in Ballinger. Rev. Plumley will officiate the graveside service.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the community who loved her and whom she loved so dearly. They would also like to thank Ballinger Home Health for their tender loving care of Patsy.
