Garry Dale Tiller, 69, of Littlefield, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 in Lubbock. He was born May 27, 1950 in Littlefield to William and Ruby (Serratt) Tiller.
Garry proudly served his country for over 20 years and during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army and National Guard. He married the love of his life, Linda Sue Ercanbrack March 14, 1970 in Littlefield. Together they raised five children, and he loved his family more than anything. Garry loved to make people laugh and he always had a joke to tell. He had a big heart and a willingness to help others. He was also a member of the American Veterans (AmVets) in Ballinger, where he served as president. He enjoyed being outdoors, and especially loved hunting, fishing, camping and doing yard work.
Garry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Sue Tiller of Littlefield; three daughters, Leah Banner and husband Blain of Littlefield, Spring Finney and husband Travis of Seguin, and Misty Tiller of Rowena; two sons, Dayton Tiller and D’Kota Tiller and wife Kristina all of Ballinger; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Donna Ruth Lance of Amarillo; and a brother, James Weldon Tiller of Round Rock.
Waiting for him in Heaven were his parents; and two sisters, Shirley Ann Cox and Suzy Crowder.
In compliance with current government restrictions and for the health of our community, no services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
