Juanita Pruser Bredemeyer of Winters, Texas died on March 29, 2017 at the age of 80.

Juanita was born August 2, 1936 in Winters, Texas to Fritz and Etta Matthies Pruser and was married to Freddie Bredemeyer on April 2, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She was a lifetime resident of Winters, graduating from Winters High School in 1954 and worked for several businesses in Winters and was on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Rock Hotel and Z.I. Hale Museum. The Bredemeyer family was honored as Outstanding Wheat Producing family by the Ft. Worth Star Telegram in 1991 and Farm Family of the year in 1994 by the Winters Chamber of Commerce. She was honored as Woman of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce in 2013. She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and served on various committees and the Church Council. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family.

Survivors are her three sons, Rodrick of Winters, Malcolm and wife Sharon of Winters and Lindsey and wife Shelia of Bryan. 5 grandchildren, John and Lori Bredemeyer Ryan of Wheatridge, CO., Leah Bredemeyer and Ryan Thompson of Dallas, TX., Kevin and Hannah Bredemeyer of College Station, TX., Kelton Bredemeyer of Winters, TX. and Lauren Bredemeyer of College Station, TX. 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Logan Ryan of Wheatridge, CO. 1 sister, Doris Eubanks of Winters and several nieces, nephews and cousins

A memorial service was held at St. John‘s Lutheran Church, Winters, Texas, officiated by Pastor Al Brakke on Saturday April 8 at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John‘s Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Cemetery or a chariety of your choice..
