Texas author Glenn Dromgoole will be speaking at the Winters Public Library at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.

Glenn Dromgoole is the author of thirty-one books, including: “What Dogs Teach Us,” “The Power of a Penny,” and “West Texas Stories.” He and his wife Carol own Texas Star Trading Company, a book, gift and gourmet shop in downtown Abilene that they founded in 2004.

Glenn was editor of the Abilene Reporter-News from 1985-1997 and was the co-founder and longtime chairman of the West Texas Book Festival before retiring in 2017. He was named Abilene’s Outstanding Citizen of the Year in 2013, and in 2018 he was presented the A.C. Greene Award for lifetime literary achievement. In 2019 he was inducted into the Texas Literary Hall of Fame.
