The Ballinger Rotary Club recently donated money to Ballinger’s Carnegie Library for the purchase of some new chairs and to the Ballinger High School Rotary Interact club.

The library donation was $500 and the Interact donation was $350.

The Interact club was instrumental in helping the Ballinger Rotary’s annual pancake supper event a success. The kids helped set up for the event, helped clean up afterward and during the event they helped ensure that all of the attendees were taken care of and shuttled ingredients and batter between the cook trailer and prep area. Ballinger Rotary president Alvin Dunn said, “They did a heck of a job. We couldn’t have done it without those kids helping out. They really helped make it a success.”
