RUNNELS COUNTY - A man and a woman from Concho County are in custody at the Runnels County Jail charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

RUNNELS COUNTY - A man and a woman from Concho County are in custody at the Runnels County Jail charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Amy Twobabies, 26, and Darin T. Reed, 24, both of Concho County, were arrested on warrants on Tuesday, Oct. 24, Chief Deputy Brent Frazier of the Concho County Sheriff's Department reported. Both remained in custody at the Runnels County Jail on Monday on bonds of $100,000 each.

According to reports, the two are charged with the offense for using their vehicle as a battering ram on another vehicle.

Frazier said Twobabies and Reed allegedly rammed another vehicle occupied by one adult male and a one year old baby. The two were not reportedly injured.

The incident occurred at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 in the 100 block of Bryan Street in Eden.

The two suspects reportedly fled the scene after the incident.

Warrants were issued last week and the two were arrested.

If convicted of the second degree felony the two could face up from two to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

All evidence and information will be turned over to the 119th District Attorney.
