COLEMAN - The Coleman County Electric Cooperative will have its 79th Annual Membership Meeting on July 14 at the Coleman High School in Coleman.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7 p.m.

George Allison the One Man Band will be performing before the business meeting.

Members may recall a couple of years ago, that changes in the ballot procedure were made. Members must vote for the directors of their choice either by mail-in ballot or if they bring the ballot to the meeting. The ballots must be placed in a sealed envelope with the signature of the voter on the outside of the envelope. Officials with CCEC say that the envelope must be sealed and the signature must be on the outside of the envelope for the vote to be counted.

There will be homemade ice cream and cookies prepared and served by the Coleman County 4-H at the Coleman Junior High cafeteria. Attendance gifts will be given to each member who registers and there will be gifts for children as well. In addition, there will be drawings for prizes for adults and children.

Officials with CCEC ask members to mark their calendars for July 14, and make plans to attend the meeting in Coleman. Come and enjoy the fellowship with your fellow members while participating in the business activities of your own cooperative.
