BALLINGER – The Carnegie Library of Ballinger recently was approved for a $50,000 grant from the Tocker Foundation. The funds will be used to redecorate and refurbish the first floor of the library.

The renovations will include new furniture and shelving for the library and the remodeling of offices.

But the renovations will not affect the slate of programs on the calendar this summer. The programs will offer a wide variety of activities and events for the children. There will be activities each Wednesday, through the end of July. The library will be closed the week of June 19-23.
