Four suspects were arrested Wednesday, following a chase according to Chief Stan Maresch of the Ballinger Police Department.

Officers reportedly attempted to stop the 2005 silver Dodge pickup with Colorado license plates on Wedensday, Jan. 11 but the driver fled through a field, reports say.

The pickup had been reported stolen from Denver, Colo. On Dec. 25, 2016. The suspects fled and eluded law enforcement until the next morning Chief Maresch to issue a warning to area residents to lock their cars because the suspects may have been looking for another vehicle.

The pickup was located wrecked off of FM 2111. A witness reported seeing the four suspects walking on FM 2111 and law enforcement responded. The Runnels County Sheriff's Department assisted the Ballinger P.D. in arresting the four suspects at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, reports indicate.

Those arrested included Ebany Saucedo, 27, who was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, and a Colorado warrant for failure to appear. Saucedo’s bond was set at $23,000. Sarrah Ebeyta, 24, and Lenahan Demian, 38, were both charged with evading arrest with a vehicle and the bond was set at $20,000 for each. Devin B. Murrow, 26, was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $40,000.

All four suspects are from Colorado and remained in custody Monday at the Runnels County Jail.
