The Runnels County Register’s Athlete of the Year (football) is Miles’ Carson Ellison. Ellison played whistle to whistle on both sides of the ball al season and led the district in PAT kicking and interceptions (5). He added 39 tackles and a sack on defense. As receiver, Ellison was #1 in the district with 609 yards and 12 touchdowns.
