It was a great season for the Miles Bulldogs who weathered their ups and downs behind arms and legs of quarterback Hayven Book. The football season in the rear view mirror while the 17-2 Bulldogs battle on the basketball court even as accolades from the gridiron are still coming in. Book, a junior this year, had ridiculous numbers this season, not the least of which was his 125.2 QB rating. Book played all 11 games this season, completing 162 of 253 passes for 2,4535 yards. He averaged 221.4 passing yards in each game. The most impressive stat might be Book’s 38 touchdowns to only 6 interceptions. Book also rushed 54 times for 384 yards, adding 13 touchdowns to his total. Overall, for the season, Book put up 2819 yards for an average of 256.3 per game. Photos by Bill Hancock
