The Marine Corps recruiting command held a family night at the Winters ISD high school cafeteria on Monday evening. Approximately 40 recruits got their first taste of Marine Corps boot camp. Recruiters were on-hand to answer questions from families and to discuss what the recruits would face once they report to training. The group was made up mostly of high school seniors who will leave at various times throughout the summer to start their careers. BILL HANCOCK
