The Mid-West Texas Artists Guild will hold their 11th Annual Miniature Art Show and Sale on Saturday as part of the 43rd Annual Texas State Festival of Ethnic Cultures and Arts and Crafts.

The Mid-West Texas Artists Guild will hold their 11th Annual Miniature Art Show and Sale on Saturday as part of the 43rd Annual Texas State Festival of Ethnic Cultures and Arts and Crafts. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. at the Do Art Studio at 108 S. 9th St. in Ballinger and visitors will be able to preview a selected group of miniature paintings which will be on sale from 10:30 a.m. to noon for $50 and under.

Artists from all over the state have submitted works that will be judged by Raul Ruiz, an artist from San Angelo. The works will be judged before Saturday, said MWTAG President Jean Hensley.

Everything in the studio is for sale, but the select group of miniatures has been specially picked for the Pre-Show and Sale.

The studio will be open all day, with awards (including cash and ribbons) to be presented to artists at 4 p.m.

“We invite everyone to come by and see what we do,” Hensley said.
