BALLINGER - The Carnegie Library Christmas Tea with the them “Christmas Memories,” was a sparkling event held Saturday and featured a variety of Christmas tables capes along with food and entertainment.

BALLINGER - The Carnegie Library Christmas Tea with the them “Christmas Memories,” was a sparkling event held Saturday and featured a variety of Christmas tables capes along with food and entertainment.

The tablescapes included a variety of styles from sparkling Christmas elegance to country charm.

Jessica Cason with her baby daughter Kennedy performed along with Ashton Wilson, Mike Riley, Lanada Driskell,  Marty Akins and his sisters, Sarah Sherrod, Martha Brown and Gary Tapley also performed.

Several of the attendees shared their Christmas memories led by Sue Morrish, Donna Williams, Clydelle Selby, Joyce Spreen, Ramona Akins and Diana Hood.

The event was hosted by the Carnegie Library Board and chairwomen for the event included Morrish, Amy Akins, and Kristie Goetz, who also served as master of ceremonies.

The Christmas Tea held Saturday, was followed by the annual Carnegie Library Christmas Tour of Homes held Sunday, Dec. 10.
