The children of Allen and Nanallene (Miller) Turner happily announce their parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Allen and Nan were married on June 8, 1957 in Coleman,Texas.

The children of Allen and Nanallene (Miller) Turner happily announce their parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Allen and Nan were married on June 8, 1957 in Coleman,Texas.

They have been blessed with four children, Melissa and Cliff Faubion of Ballinger, Lanny and Cherie Turner of Monroe, Louisiana, Janelle Turner of Belton, and Raenese and Randy Byrom of Tuscola. They are also the proud grandparents of Cody Faubion, Courtney and Sam Perry, Cameron Faubion, Matthew and Kelly Turner, Mitchell and Heather Turner, Ashley Byrom and Jamie Byrom, and one great grandchild, Casey Perry.

The newly weds began their life together in Abilene, Texas, where Allen began his career with the Texas A & M Extension Service and Nanallene taught second grade. The couple soon moved to Menard, Texas where Allen worked as the county extension agent and they started their family. The family moved to San Angelo where Allen worked as the Tom Green County Ag agent, and then as District 7 Agent for the Extension Service.

The Turners moved to Ballinger in 1973 and Allen continued his career with the extension service until his retirement in 1989. The couple moved to Coleman and Allen worked for Coleman Interbank as well as farming and ranching in southern Coleman County. They moved out to the Voss community and Allen retired from the bank and is still farming and ranching. Nanallene was a substitute teacher and homemaker. The Turners are members of First Baptist Church Gouldbusk. Allen is a member of Coleman Masonic Lodge, and Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers, and Nan belongs to the South Coleman Women's Club and Happy Creative Stitchers Quilting club.
