BALLINGER – The Mid-West Texas Artist Guild welcomed miniature art work from artists across the area during the 10th Annual Miniature Art Show and Sale held Saturday, April 29 at the Do-Art Studio.

BALLINGER – The Mid-West Texas Artist Guild welcomed miniature art work from artists across the area during the 10th Annual Miniature Art Show and Sale held Saturday, April 29 at the Do-Art Studio.

Roger Levesque of Brownwood was the judge for the show, which featured miniature works in a variety of different mediums.

Local artist and MWTAG member Jean Hensley, said the show was a success and applauded the work of the area artists who entered the show.

The art was entered in the professional and non-professional categories. Artist Linda Wright of Coleman won Best of Show honors overall in the show.

Winners in the non-professional category included Lue Kraatz of Ballinger, first place; Loretta Herrington of Ballinger, second place; Lisa Ward of Abilene, third place, Paula Hensley of San Angelo, honorable mention and Iris Rudeseal of Brownwood, honorable mention.

Winners in the professional category included Jean Hensley of Ballinger, first place, Tom Orsak of Harriet, second place, Marian DeBerry of Abilene, third place; Dorothy Whisenhunt of Abilene, honorable mention and Ginger Test of Novice, honorable mention.
