WINTERS - A collection of six antique tractors will be on display on Saturday, April 8 at the at the Gus Pruser Agriculture Exhibit in at 219 West Dale St. in Winters.

WINTERS - A collection of six antique tractors will be on display on Saturday, April 8 at the at the Gus Pruser Agriculture Exhibit in at 219 West Dale St. in Winters.

The exhibit will feature 38 years of antique Farmall tractors, including a 1929 Farmall Regular and ending with a 1967 Farmall 1206 and range in horsepower from 13.27 to 95 HP.

The Agriculture Exhibit features an extensive collection of early farm implements housed in the 1927 dealership of local farmer and inventor Gus Pruser, and includes the horse-drawn cotton-picking machine he invented in 1912.

Visitors to the exhibit can view a 1929 Farmall Regular, a 1938 Farmall F-20, a 1946 Farmall B, a 1946 Farmall H, a 1962 Farmall 560 and a 1967 Farmall 1206.

The tractors used a variety of fuels, including kerosene, gasoline and diesel.

The majority of these tractors are on display at the Gus Pruser Agriculture Exhibit Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
