WINTERS – It will be an “enchanted evening,” as the Daddy-Daughter Dance gets underway at the Winters school cafeteria. The event is sponsored by the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and the cost is $30 per couple with $5 for each additional princess. All girls from pre-K to sixth grade are invited to attend the dance to be held from 6-9 p.m. Refreshments and a commemorative photo are included.

Outlaws and Legends festival

ABILENE - She hopes you dance!  Music festivals are becoming a Texas tradition, and Abilene leads the country charge with Outlaws and Legends, March 31 – April 1.  Lee Ann Womack leads the stellar 2017 line up, along with Cody Johnson.  Other notable performers include legendary country stars and up-and-coming crooners like Mark Chesnutt, Kevin Fowler, Mark Powell, Cooder Graw, Kyle Park and Josh Ward, with several others Coors Light Balcony guests.  The festival offers the opportunity to experience the music in a more intimate setting.

Downtown Stroll Jan. 19

SAN ANGELO - Come join us every third Thursday of the month for the DSA & Cultural Arts District Downtown Stroll. Each month, Downtown Stroll showcases some of the best art, food, and fun that Downtown San Angelo has to offer. Stop by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts and view their current exhibits, or visit one of the many art galleries for a sampling of West Texas art. Take a break and grab a bite to eat while you enjoy a cup of coffee, mug of beer, of a glass of wine at some of the best restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in West Texas. Top off the evening with a little shopping at Downtown's unique boutiques. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in downtown San Angelo. The Trolley service will be available from 6-9 p.m.
