On September 11, 2021, members of the Ballinger VFD, Runnels County SO, Winters VFD, and others, participated in a 5k march in observance of the deaths of hundreds of firefighters and first responders during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The observance will be held again this year. Bill Hancock
