Rural Texas and the small towns with long histories which dot Central and West Texas are in danger of being swamped. I do not mean that there will be too much water, but I want to highlight the important fact that this area is undergoing a very large in migration of residents.
The other day a couple of friends of mine told me how their daughter refers to screwdrivers (the tool not the beverage). Think about this for a moment and see if you can figure it out. When her dad asked her to hand him a screwdriver she said “do you want the plus or minus one?” Figure it out? This is how the entire family refers to screwdrivers still today. Took me a moment, but I finally got it. You?
