2022 Cotton Queen Contest was held this Saturday in the Miles City Park during the Annual Cotton Festival. Several beautiful ladies competed in gorgeous gowns and vied for their chance to be Cotton Queen or 1st or 2nd Runner Up for 2022.
BALLINGER - The St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic church has been holding their annual fall festival in Ballinger for decades. The festival always draws in throngs of attendees in addition to the congregation. This year, it went far beyond what anyone foresaw.
WINTERS, TEXAS Karmen Miller rounded out her summer traveling to Midland, TX on 8/6 as an exhibitor at the West Texas Heat Jackpot. Karmen was Champion Junior Showmanship for her second consecutive show; additionally she placed 1st, 3rd, and 4th in her classes. She came home with a new buckle, a banner, a slew of prizes, and a pocketful of cash.
