Runnels County 4-H’ers have started off the 4-H year having success at a variety of contest and events across the state. In addition to exhibiting livestock at the fall Fairs, Runnels County 4-H’ers have competed in a variety of team and individual contest.

BALLINGER, Texas - It is no secret that the Olde Park Hotel in Ballinger is considered one of the most haunted places in the United States. It’s climbing the rankings in world-wide paranormal ranks as well. You name the paranormal investigation television show or podcast, and they’ve probably been to the Olde Park Hotel. Celebrities like Chad Lindberg regularly come to the hotel to conduct ghost hunts. Recently, they have added in the 1925 Runnels County Jail to some of the ghost hunts.
