Christmas Eve radio service

Please note: There will be a Christmas Eve radio service telling the story of the birth of Christ with songs and Gospel readings KCSA, 97.1, the community radio station for San Angelo and the surrounding area. The program will air at midnight on Christmas Eve and again at 10:00 A.M. on Christmas morning. The music is special and the Gospel is timeless. Ballinger FFA Tractor Tech Team takes 1st in Stanton

Ballinger FFA competed at the Stanton Tractor Technician Contest on December 15th. At the contest, Ballinger students competed against 14 other teams and placed 1st and 4th. In the individual rankings, Storm Skelton tied for 2nd place , Ozmar Solis took 4th and Cade Busenlehner finished 11th. The first place team was made up of Leo Luna, Storm Skelton and Charlie Poteet. The 4th place team members were Ozmar Solis, Owen Duke and Cade Busenlehner.

Ballinger Jr. Livestock Show

The 2022 Ballinger Jr. Livestock Show was held on December 11th at the Ballinger Community Center. The Ballinger Ag Booster event had 91 entrees shown by 36 different exhibitors. These exhibitors have invested countless hours and significant funds in these projects.

Comedian works hard to bring original comedy to the area

Greg Duran is making his way through the tough and unforgiving world of being a standup comedian. Comedians are at the mercy of the audience and if they aren’t entertaining with original comedy, the heckling can start. What makes someone want to delve into this world? “I’ve always wanted to pursue comedy my whole life, it wasn’t till I turned 35 I did my first act in a local barn. My cousin was a DJ and just let me do my act,” Duran said.
