On Easter Sunday I had the amazing honor of marrying Adrianna Melton and Seth Hale out in Nordheim, Texas.
I'm not a member of any particular religion, although I was raised in the church. My stepfather was an African American pastor, but not the fire and brimstone type so many people associate with African American churches.
It’s funny, the little things that you carry with you during your life. We carry the important ones, the ones that remind of us of someone near and dear to us, forever in our heart.
Spring is here! How wonderful is this time of year? Winter wasn't near as drab as it could have been, with only a couple of severe cold fronts, but winter is winter, nonetheless. It leaves one to ponder deep thoughts in the doldrums of days short of daylight and nights long on darkness.
Every year we learn new lessons, hopefully we learn many new lessons from a positive standpoint. I've learned that there is a difference between realizing and accepting some lessons, most of them as they deal with aging.
I sometimes get asked, "What's it like?"
