James Lincycomb

WINTERS – James Allen Lincycomb, 66, of Winters, TX, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2022.

James (Jim) is predeceased by his father, James Allen Lincycomb Sr., and his mother, Sarah Ann Lincycomb. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Troylene, his children, Josh and Kalene, their spouses, Laura and Cody, and the joy of his life, his grandsons Landon, Hunter, Gage and Evan. He is also survived by his sister Gina and her husband, Paul, his brother Bill and his wife, Kay, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends who were like family to him.

Jim was born in Fort Stockton, TX on September 24th, 1955. Soon after, his family moved to Quanah, TX, where he was raised and graduated high school. While living there, he met the love of his life, Troylene. They were married on November 25th, 1978 and moved to Winters, TX where they would build their family.

He was a jack of all trades, and there was nothing he couldn’t do. He was always eager to help anyone at the drop of a hat. Whatever he set his mind to, he got it done. Jim was most proud of his children and grandchildren and he spoke of them often. He was an amazing husband, father, granddad and loyal friend. He will be missed greatly by all those who he touched in life.

A celebration of his life was held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Winters, TX.
