BALLINGER, TX - It was a meeting that, as they say, "was a long time comin'." There has been back and forth over many years regarding Runnels County paying not paying as much as the City believes that they should for fire services in the county, while the other side of the proverbial coin is the County feeling that they aren't getting paid appropriately for dispatch services. They have not been paid in two years.

RUNNELS COUNTY, TX - The Runnels County Commissioners' Court has been working diligently on addressing issues concerning much-needed repairs to the Runnels County Jail. According to an engineering report, the repairs that are needed are extensive.
