Flu, RSV and Other Bad Colds

Nothing has been the same since COVID hit in 2020, and this year we are having an unusual amount of illness due to influenza and bad colds. All of these respiratory illnesses become more prevalent as the weather cools, and usually the number of office visits for flulike symptoms begins to rise during October. Typically, by sometime during November or early December about 2.5% of all office visits to a healthcare provider are because of flu-like symptoms.

Being Nice Matters

And then there were none. TCU and Angelo State football teams lost this past weekend. No more undefeated teams in Texas. My schedule just opened up a bunch. I have been watching local sports teams on the television. This new cable choice called NFHS is the best deal anywhere. I watched several Miles games and parts of the Wall game. Too cool for words. Watching local youth play live ball on the tube is the best.

November 20, 1931 - November 20, 2022 Edgar Dale Herring of Talpa, Texas was born November 20, 1931, in the Santa Anna hospital as the only child of Edgar Otto Herring and Cora Belle Dancer Herring. He graduated from Talpa High School in 1949 and served in the United States Air Force 1951-1955.
