I’ve always been a Christmas junkie. My family was traditional with turkey dinner during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve changed that now to prime rib or venison roast for my family and I on the big day. Well, for myself and my daughter when she comes in from her university for the holidays.

Ballinger and Miles win; Winters falters

It’s been a tough year for two of the three football teams in Runnels County. Ballinger and Winters have faced adversity at every turn, while Miles has continued to improve and flourish under thirdyear head coach Jayson Wilhelm. The ups and downs and ever-changing landscape of football players, coaching staffs, and the randomness of injuries and other factors all push and pull at our teams.
