BALLINGER - The Ballinger High School DECA club held a book drive to benefit that World Literacy Foundation. DECA State President Christy Zhuang and Chapter President Franki Gray headed up the drive. In the end, hundreds of books were donated by the library.

Winters High School, Pride of West Texas Blizzard Marching Band crowned their Band Beau and Sweetheart in halftime ceremonies of their final home game at Blizzard Stadium.
MILES - The Miles Bulldogs had a great season. They ran an offense that was run-and-shoot, often using 4 wide receivers.

I’ve always been a Christmas junkie. My family was traditional with turkey dinner during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve changed that now to prime rib or venison roast for my family and I on the big day. Well, for myself and my daughter when she comes in from her university for the holidays.
It’s been a tough year for two of the three football teams in Runnels County. Ballinger and Winters have faced adversity at every turn, while Miles has continued to improve and flourish under thirdyear head coach Jayson Wilhelm. The ups and downs and ever-changing landscape of football players, coaching staffs, and the randomness of injuries and other factors all push and pull at our teams.
BUFFALO GAP, TEXAS - The Buffalo Run Adventure Challenge will return of its 3rd year and has made an exciting announcement. In the first 2 years of the challenge, competitor trekked to the Grand Canyon for the first year and Four Corners, USA the 2nd year.
