WINTERS - Winters ISD offers career and technical education programs in Agricultural Food and Natural Resources, Arts, Technology and Communication, Business Management and Administration, Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Services, Informational Technology, Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security and STEM. Admission to these programs is based on student course requests, course prerequisites, and career counseling.
The other day it rained and with that came some memories from my youth. I remember watching the water run along the curb of the street. We would make dams with dirt and leaves trying to stop the leading edge from moving on. We knew from past experiences where the water would pool and there we would play with popsicle sticks and pretend they were boats and we would bomb them with rocks or dirt clods. I remember my supervisor watching one of my first therapy sessions as an intern and during our discussion of it, he pointed out that I had asked that very question, and invited me to think deeply about what it implied.

Fort Worth - The Texas Pinners Conference will be held from September 30 - October 1st at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. According to Roxanne Bennett of Bennett Events, the conference outgrew it’s previous location, “We had it in Arlington for two years but we outgrew the facility. The following year we held in downtown Dallas. The last two years we’ve held it at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth.”
WINTERS - Winters Dove Fest 2022 will be Saturday, September 3, 2022, and we are so excited to be able to host it again this year! RUNNELS COUNTY - The new hunting regulations were announced earlier this year by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Included in the hunting regulations is a special waterfowl hunting season for veterans and active-duty service members. The special season will occur concurrently during youth-only season in all duck zones.
