The Miles Lady Bulldogs Varsity softball team fought back after falling down by four runs in the sixth inning during the game with Mason Friday, March 23. The comeback fell just short though, in a 7-6 defeat to Mason.The Lady Bulldogs scored two runs in the failed comeback. Maddie Bryand and Cambree Schwartz all picked up RBIs in the rally.

The Lady Bulldogs were right in it until Mason homered in the fifth inning.

In the first inning, the Lady Bulldogs got their offense started. An error scored one run for the Lady Bulldogs.

In the top of the fourth inning, Mason tied things up at two. Mason scored one run when A Elliott singled.

After Mason scored one run in the top of the sixth, the Lady Bulldogs answered with one of their own. Mason scored when their player singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. The Lady Bulldogs then answered when Bryand singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Tycie Lange led things off on the hill for the team and alowed nine hits and seven runs over seven innings, striking out three.

Josy Mata, Bryand, and Taylen Book each collected one hit to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

Mason tallied nine hits.
