During the Breckenridge game, Thursday, March 15 Breckenridge got things moving in the first inning. But Ballinger lost 8-4.

The Bearcats knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the first inning, when Jorian Fuentes singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Dylen Crabb got the start for the Ballinger Bearcats. He allowed 10 hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one. Jon Marcon threw two innings in relief.

The Bearcats tallied 10 hits in the game. Marcon and Fuentes each racked up multiple hits for the team. Jon Marcon led the Bearcats with three hits in four at bats.

Things went a little better in the previous game against Dubin on Wednesday. In the game against Dublin on March 14, the Bearcats were victorious winning the game 7-3.

After the Bearcats scored one run in the top of the second, Dublin answered with one of their own. The Bearcats scored when Cody Harral doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Dublin then answered when Pickett tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

The Bearcats took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Cody Daily singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Marcon doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Jorian Fuentes got the start for Ballinger Bearcats Varsity. He lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out five.

The Bearcats tallied 16 hits in the game. Fuentes, Harral, Crabb, Daily, Marcon, and Cooper Bean each collected multiple hits for foe the Bearcats. Fuentes went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Bearcats in hits. The Bearcats didn't commit a single error in the field. Cole Zentner had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

In the game with Jim Ned, also on Wednesday, the score was tied 4-4.

The Bearcats racked up 12 hits in the game. Harral, Crabb, and Edgar Nunez each managed multiple hits for the team. Harral went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Bearcats in hits. The Bearcats didn't commit a single error in the field. Fuentes had the most chances in the field with five.

In Monday's blowout against Brady, the Bearcats put up six runs in the third on the way to a 10-2 victory over Brady. The Bearcat's offense in the inning was led by Crabb, Cody Daily, Marcon, and Cavazos, all driving in runs in the frame.

Cavazos got the start for surrendering two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one.
