The caravan is expected to be coming through Runnels County between 1 and 2 p.m. according to Sheriff Carl Squyers.

"Joel Carver, a Missing In America Project representative, found these ashes and researched the backgrounds finding that eight individuals were veterans but had never been given a proper burial. One in particular served in three different wars (WWII, Korean War, Vietnam) and was awarded the purple heart but was never claimed by family. The ashes and their caravan of motorcycling patriots will be taking the veterans to San Antonio's National Cemetery where they will be honored and given a proper burial," a press release explains.
