Tevin Starkey, 23, was charged with aggravated robbery and remained in custody Monday on a $100,000 bond for allegedly kicking down the door of his ex-girlfriend and threatening her with a baseball bat if she did not allow him to take some of the items in the home located on Murry Street.

According to reports, the woman escaped to her vehicle after Starkey reportedly kicked in the door at around 4 p.m. Starkey reportedly fled on foot before police arrived, Police Chief Paula Geyer reported.
