John Twain Wright, 49, of Winters, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred at 8:18 p.m. Monday at County Road 200 and County Road 202, five miles northeast of Winters.

Reports indicate Wright was traveling west on CR 200 in a 2005 Nissan Titan, when the vehicle went into a side skid, went in to the bar ditch and rolled over several times.

Passengers Calvin Jeremiah Gardner, 35, of Winters and Joseph Dale Gardner, 32, of Ballinger, were transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene and are listed in stable condition.
