RUNNELS COUNTY - A Concho County man is in custody at the Runnels County Jail and charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor after allegedly threatening an officer, officials with the Concho County Sheriff's Office reported.

RUNNELS COUNTY - A Concho County man is in custody at the Runnels County Jail and charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor after allegedly threatening an officer, officials with the Concho County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Shaelen Rodgers, 35, of Concho County was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 6 and charged with terroristic threat on public servant, a state jail felony, obstruction and retaliation a third degree felony and duty striking fixture, a misdemeanor. He remained in custody at the Runnels County Jail Monday in lieu of bonds totaling $180,000.

According to Concho County Chief Deputy Brent Frazier, CCSO responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Eden at 11:49 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5. He was not arrested at that time but reportedly had made threats against a game warden who had been investigating him for poaching, Frazier said.

Rodgers left the residence and would later wreck his vehicle on Stock Pen Road and left the vehicle at that location where the wreck occurred.

He was arrested the following day.
